Good Afternoon,

Patrols have been conducted in and around the Ladywood area due to vehicle thefts / and theft from the vehicle. Please do not leave items on show or leave any important personal documents in your vehicle. Opportunists have no regard for value, In the past we have even seen break- ins to vehicles for small change left in the centre console – so please ensure you remove everything. 

Officers have seized multiple different vehicles this week for reasons such as driving without insurance and no road tax.

Officers have been patrolling around the local Ladywood Parks in the area,  and also trying to support businesses for the retail thefts occurring in the area.

Upcoming community drop in at Trident on the 17/8/26 at 10.30-11.30

There is a community event that will be held at the Ladywood leisure centre with partner agencies on the 19th August from 10.00 till 15.00.  

Capturing Useful Information

If you see something suspicious, the police can take more effective action if you provide specific details:

Vehicles: Make, model, colour, and most importantly, the Partial or Full Registration Number.

Descriptions: Height, clothing (especially distinctive logos or colours), and any direction of travel.

CCTV/Doorbell Footage: If you have a Ring or Nest camera, ensure the "Share" function is ready so you can provide clips to officers via a secure link if they request it.
